Solaronna was conceived in the mid-1990’s by a veteran entrepreneur from the banking, environmental, and software sectors in North America. In 2001, Solaronna was formally established as a limited liability company, with a mission to protect the environment by providing innovative and affordable alternative energy solutions to the world.

It began by supplying solar street lights for infrastructure projects across the globe. In 2008 alone, Solaronna will produce and deliver almost 40,000 of its solar lighting systems across five continents.

Solaronna has expanded its product lines in recent years to include other solar lighting products such as park and pathway lighting, road markers, and traffic signals as well as tents, pumps, and portable panels. It is also now providing solar and wind farms to meet the diverse alternative energy needs of its clients.

To accommodate rapid growth and ensure access to the most innovative and highest quality products for its clients, Solaronna has established offices, distribution warehouses, and factories in the USA, Middle East, and China and also maintains several joint venture and manufacturing partners across the globe to help meet its mission.

Solaronna is headquartered just outside of the Greater Grand Rapids area near West Michigan’s beautiful Gold Coast on Lake Michigan, and is an active member of the local business community.
